Sunday Smith

As we were talking last night I began thinking how blessed I was to be raised in a hospitable home - I have had my ins and out with my mother, but the thing that struck me last night was that no matter how tight money was over the years, we always hosted people in our home. When I was younger I would often be annoyed at always having “strangers” in our house, but I now realize that I have an advantage in Gods plan. Since I was raised hosting large amounts of people on a regular basis I find it easy and am very comfortable sharing my home, food, time with others.
I am also blessed to have amazing roommates that share my passion for sharing. I had never thought of hospitality as a way to share Gods love, until last night.
So if any one ever wants to come over hang out, or needs a place to stay, you are more than welcome. Mi casa, Su casa!

Thanks for your comment, Sunday! I'm so blessed! I think we should take you up on your offer. Part of learning the art of hospitality is learning how to be a recipient of hospitality. Let's work toward a vespers on a Friday night, or something, we could do at your place.
