Andrew Clark in Adventist News Network
My friend, Andrew Clark, is the director of Adventist Community Services in Pittsburgh. Together with a staff of volunteers they run Conscious Café in the town of Carnegie. This project is part of the economic revival after a serious flood devastated the town in 2004. Over a year ago I visited this project, met with Andy, Mayda and their staff to discuss some of the issue they were facing and to learn about what they are doing. Andy joined the Pennsylvania Conference only a few months before I left for Hollywood.
Today Adventist News Network released a very nice story about their work. Please go and read the whole thing here.

Thanks for the shout out Ryan!
FYI, we are having hiccups at our consciouscafe.com site; if you would like to support our ministry through pre-loved book purchases or premium loose-leaf teas, try www.consciouscafe.org
When are you inviting us to Hollywood! :-P
