This is a re-read, but I'm more struck this time by the importance of this book. If you want to help your congregation be a healing presence in your community you need to read this book.

So does the fence keep the homeless out, or does it keep us in? Reminds me of an old Petra song ... "looking through rose colored stained glass windows, never allowing the world to come in ...". Great post.

Hi Ryan
I like the sound of what you are doing at Hollywood church. The best mission field is sometimes standing at our front door.
In this context, I wonder why some churches put 'no soliciting' signs on their front door?
