Missio Dei

This Latin expression means the mission of God. What we are attempting to enter into in this message is an understanding of what God is up to in the world. Taken in the big picture, what is God's mission - what is God's purpose. The missionary impulse does not begin with humans; much less the church. It begins in the heart of God. It is only as we understand the missionary heart of God that we can begin to discern what the shape of congregational life ought to be. As always, I'd enjoy your feedback.
