How Quickly Life Can Change

A week ago today my stepbrother, Steven, was in a terrible car accident. He was in the left lane of a two-lane highway, stopped with his left blinker on, waiting to turn left into his place of work, when a commercial size truck slamed into the back of him going, the police say, 60+ miles per hour. The impact laid his seat down flat, but it shattered his C4 vertebrae. We went to the hospital yesterday and saw him. At the moment he is flat on his back, paralyzed from the neck down, even though they say his spinal cord was not severed. He can feel touch on his extremities, but he cannot move and cannot even breath on his own. There are many evidences of God's intervention in his life in the past week. We expect that will continue. Please keep him in your prayers.
