Sunday was a great day. It was just wonderful to see nearly 30 people from our church family in Hollywood come out and volunteer their time and energy to make the church a more beautiful place. We started at 2:00 pm. The idea was to work for three hours. I extended the work time until 5:30 and then had to make everyone stop by 6:00 pm so we could eat and get on with the meeting we had planned for the evening. I am amazed at the work that got done in 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Thanks to everyone who helped. Check out the photo album below on the left column for more pictures!

This is a re-read, but I'm more struck this time by the importance of this book. If you want to help your congregation be a healing presence in your community you need to read this book.
